The Project
The Headingley Greengrocer is a successful independent business run as part of Headingley Development Trust (HDT). It provides high quality produce to the local community, including locally produced and organic fruit and vegetables. The site has been a greengrocers shop for over 100 years.
The Development Trust bought the business in April 2019 from RK Harris and Son who had run the the treasured local asset for over 40 years.
dg3 has worked on a number of projects for HDT providing leaflets, displays, posters and annual reviews.
HDT is a democratic social enterprise with over 1200 members. Founded in 2005 by local community members, its aim is to develop enterprising initiatives that promote and sustain a vibrant local community
