The Project
Arts consultant Graham Roberts approached dg3 to work on the design of a book for a new project, Runs on the Boards, part of the London 2012 cultural programme, commissioned by iMove. The project is an artists’ celebration of amateur cricket in Yorkshire and a homage to over 50s cricket in Yorkshire, featuring the images of award-winning photographer Anton Want and the words of Yorkshire poet Andrew McMillan.
The Grey Fox Trophy, a limited overs knock-out competition for over 50s sides, is an integral element, provided a focus for the artists’ attention.
Working to tight budget, dg3 produced a limited edition cloth bound book with the ROTB logo gold foil blocked onto the cover.
