The Project
Ilkley Literature Festival drives a number of important cultural projects in Yorkshire beyond the core three week October festival in Ilkley: Stanza Stones: poems by Simon Armitage, carved in stones across the Pennine Watershed, involved young writers’ groups across the region; 40 Years of Writing, supporting mainly African Caribbean writers based in Chapletown, Leeds; Cool Voices Words Club Night, a performance event for young people at Otley Courthouse arts — and much more … all of which needs funding. dg3 was commissioned to create a leaflet soliciting donations from festival goers and friends to help support and grow exciting events around literature and performance in Yorkshire.
