The Project
Solace is a Leeds based charitywhich provides psychotherapy, complementary therapies and advocacy support to the survivors of persecution and exile living in the Yorkshire and Humber region, many of whom have been traumatised by torture, rape, the death or disappearance of loved ones and often combinations of all of these and other atrocities.
Working miracles on a shoestring, Solace didn’t have much spare to splash out on a new website. However their previous site was just not up to the job of offering vital information, training and promoting the organisation in the digital age. With the help of a special grant plus some very cost-conscious design and site building, we managed to create a modern responsive website that the clients are delighted with.
